about mrs. adventuruss

hello friends & welcome to this space!  i've been blogging a little over 2 years and somehow, this relatively private girl fell in love with public journaling.

i grew up in san diego and after marrying my high school sweetheart a., we moved to alabama for his training with the army.  after a year in alabama we moved to new york and lived there for 7 fantastic years.  while there, we learned so much about life, love, snow, and long distance relationships.  with another looming deployment, a. & i decided to leave the life of an active duty military family and take on the "real world."  now, after being away for 8 years, a. & i have returned to san diego to be closer to our families and build the next chapter in our lives.

here you'll find a sampling of our everyday.  i guess you could call this a lifestyle blog.  i love to create and cook, take pictures and garden.  hike and find adventures.  craft and write.  i guarantee you'll find a little bit of everything.
